For the uninformed, Funky Winkerbean is an extraordinarily unfunny newspaper comic strip about people having serious issues, but attempting to be humorous about them. Issues covered include alcoholism, cancer, suicide, censorship, land mines, and other HILARIOUS topics. It's an awful, awful strip that nobody likes. Sort of like mine.

Nobody learns anything in my strips. There are no life lessons, valuable wisdom, or even real relationships between characters (certainly no sex- this entire strip needs to get laid). If you expect me to hit hot-button issues, forget it. Instead, I'll give you nonesense in which penguins try taking over the world and vidya game characters run around while I get hit with blunt objects by folks on the interweb that probably never liked me to begin with.

Or, recently, get drunk with Pen Pen. Though, to be honest, it is part of the storyline, so there's that.
